Monitor Different Ring Groups with BLF

    Hey everyone,

    We have multiple ring groups setup for our Support / Sales / Billing departments, and need to have the ability to monitor the ring groups in the event that we need to have someone from another department pick up the line if things get busy.

    Is there a way to monitor the status of say Ring Group 800 with the BLF functionality of my Linksys SPA962 phones?

    I've tried fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=800@10.10.1.200;ext=800@10.10.1.200 but the BLF for that particular line key is just amber.

    Monitoring of an extension from the group will work.
    Currently BLF is supported only for extensions.

    Just as a feature request...

    Is there a way to perhaps in a new version monitor the status of a Ring Group just to see if it's ringing ( as obviously it's not an active line that someone would be on ), and have a BLF+CP button click to pick up the incoming call?

    I NEED this feature also. I see this is an old post and as far as I can tell this is still not an option.
