Multicast paging through cloud server

    I am trying to set up multicast paging through 3cx installed in the cloud. I can set it up on the Yealink phones directly and it works. But if I try to use a ring group for multicast paging it does not seem to work. I have triple checked my settings and they are all right.

    Should I be able to get multicast paging working with a cloud server?

    Hello @Michael Knutson,

    Multicast paging is not possible through a cloud server. Due to its design, it only works within the same broadcast domain. To make this work, you will need a VPN between the cloud server and the remote location.
