Multiple Extensions on one phone

    Hi,

    New to the 3CX system..

    have a question that I don't know how to resolve.

    The president's admin would like to have a second line on her Yealink T48 so that she can answer the president's calls if he is on the phone, or if he is in her office.

    Is that something that can be done?

    I can obviously get a busy lamp field on her phone, but that doesn't help her answer or call from her phone on his line..

    Thanks in advance for any direction.

    The set appears to support multiple lines (SIP accounts) , but, may require a custom (manually edited) template /configuration file, to add the additional line(s). I'm not certain that it can be done from the PBX when the set extension is "created". Someone more familiar with that set may have additional information, or a template example.

    custom template with manual fields filled in for account 2 is probably easiest way to go with any phone that supports multiple accounts, as the Yealinks do.
