I have had numerous requests from clients if it is possible to have more options available for inbound call destinations - for example, at Acme Widgets Inc the day mode digital receptionist works between 8AM & 5PM. From 5PM to 8PM they have three people who consistently work late and are able to answer calls, so between these hours calls need to go to a ring group with these three people. From 8PM until midnight, then midnight until 8AM the calls need to go directly to an after hours mailbox. On Saturdays, there's usually one person who wanders around the building, so calls need to go directly to this single extension which happens to be a cordless phone. Currently, this specific scenario is not possible with 3CX. The closest I've been able to do is with three options when calls go to a virtual extension, with custom office hours, utilising the 'break mode' time table.
