    Hi All,

I am trying to configure a Multitech MVP-810 to work with a 3CX.

I have it all registered OK on Ext 10002 but can not place any calls thought it whether incoming or outgoing.

I think it is something to do with the "Phonebook" on the Multitech.

    Does anyone have any pointers??

If you require any more info I am happy to supply.

    Thanks in advance

    Steve

I have not (somehow) got the 3CX to see the calls but still does not ring.

You must adjust source identification rule to recognize 'Contact: <sip:MultiVoIP@10.10.21.202:5060>'
Such kind of Contact is not covered by default rules.
Or, you better set up the device to send virtual line number (10002) in Contact instead of 'MultiVoIP', than it should work with default source identification rules.

Works like a dream - Thank you very much.

Now just got to to stop it from keeping the call open when you make an outgoing call and hang up :)

Watch this space as I will probably be back.

    Regards

    Steve

You should use a supported gateway instead of this one. This will save you a lot of time and grief and support will be able to help you.

    Hi Nick,

I am only using it to save me a few £££'s as it is on my Test 3CX system that I use to learn so is not on my commercial system or any customer sights as I will not stray from Patton.

    Thanks a lot

    Regards

    Steve

We are looking at the MVP810 for its ability to handle analog "DiD Trunk" lines from our telco (they are sending "a wink and 4 digits".)

Does anyone have experience setting these up with 3CX? Do they work?

Is there a better product available that is 3CX-supported?

    Thank you!
