Hi All,

Have a client with an existing (and quite proprietary, cheesy) NEC IP PBX system (NEC SV8100 NEC CD-16DLCA Station Blade with DT300 ip phones). Their current setup is keeps failing and costing them nearly a $1,000 per month between the PR-T1 line and phone minutes from Verizon.

Taking a shot on the dark here, but does anyone know if there is any way at all to make this compatible with 3CX and a SIP trunk provider like NexVortex? Doesn't seem so as NEC appears proprietary, but figured I'd take a chance and post here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unless the T1 interface is a standard gateway that can then be connected to a PC/server running 3CX, you are probably out of luck.

As for the sets... They run on 27 volts supplied by the switch linecard. They use an RJ9 connector, so I'm pretty sure that they are proprietary.
