    Hey guys,

We hear often lately the words "Disaster Recovery Plan" especially on Enterprise companies and I know 3CX has in-built Failover functionality, however requirment is now that both servers should reside beside the same local nat device otherwise it will not work.

Can we make it possible to work under separate Public IPs, in order to implement Disaster Recovery plan?

    Thank you!

Enterprise Edition currently allows this. There may be additional scripting required to handle internal DNS when failover occurs. If using 3CX FQDN they handle updating the public records, if not you also need to script that.

Professional Edition has a failover feature that works best as you described for various reasons.
