Need Help changing caller ID based on client codes dialed

    Hello, I need assistance using Call Flow Designer to create an app that will prompt our helpdesk staff to provide a customer code before dialing an external number. We would also like the ability to change our outgoing caller ID based on the customer code that was entered by the helpdesk member. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

    Hello @rudydm,

    You can use the Authentication component to validate the caller, as explained here:
    https://www.3cx.com/docs/cfd-validate-customers/

    And then you just ask for the number to call using a User Input component, and transfer the call to the number entered by the caller.

    Changing the outgoing caller ID can only be done using the Caller ID reformatting options, but nothing can be done from the CFD regarding this:

    Our solution will change the outbound caller ID prior to sending out the call.
