.Net 3CXPhone API: After Update to V15.5 we get no events (OnCallStatusChange) in CTI Mode?

    Hallo,

    after Update form V12.5 to V15.5 we get no events (OnCallStatusChange) when the 3CX Phone is in "CTI" Mode!? When i change the 3CX Phone to "Softphone" Mode the events (OnCallStatusChange) are working.
    In the Version V12.5 and earlier we get the events in "CTI" Mode.

    Has anything changed here between V12.5 to V15.5?
    Is there a workaround and activating the events again?

    Events should work in both CTI and softphone modes. Did you check the 3CXPhone logs?

    Yes now i have check 3CXPhone logs but i don't find the problem. Please see the Attachments. I have create two Log Files. One with Softphone Mode with Events und one with CTI Mode without Events by an Inbound Call!?

    Hello @Franz Nussbaumer,

    Did you re-compile your plugin DLL updating the reference to "MyPhoneCRMIntegration.dll" taken from a v15.5 installation of 3CXPhone for Windows (folder "C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp")?

    Hi edossantos,
    I have Rebuild it with the Version 12.0.6.12 see File Liste after 3CXPhone Client Update.
    Ist this Version ok?
    And i think this is not the Problem. In the Softphone Mode all Events are Working ok only in CTI Mode i get no Events!?

    Yes, that's the right version. Are you working with a supported phone in CTI mode? Do you see the presence information when you're in CTI mode?

    Hi,
    our Configuration is a Windows 2012 Terminalserver with 3CXWin8Phone.exe in CTI Mode with our .Net CRM Client Plugin for outbound and inbound Calls. The Voice Phone is a Windows 10 Prof. PC with 3CXWin8Phone.exe in Softphone Mode with a Jabra Headset.
    The presence information is switching form green to red on the Terminalserver (Please see Screenshot as Attachment) but no Information in the "3CXPhoneForWindows_CTI_Mode_NoEvents.log" File is Logging by an InBound Call only the presence information is switching form green to red.

    When i do the Test so switch on the Terminalserver from "CTI Mode" to "Softphone Mode" i get all Events please see the File "3CXPhoneForWindows_Softphone_Mode_WithEvents.log".

    Do you see any Problems in the Logfiles?

    Hello,

    Thanks for explaining your scenario in more detail. I think that the problem might be that you're using 2 instances of 3CXPhone, one in softphone mode and the other in CTI mode. In this case maybe the notification is sent only to the softphone. Why don't you install your plugin in the softphone instead?

    this configuration with 2 instances of 3CXPhone worked perfectly with versions 10.x to 12.x after Update to version 15.5 we get no events (OnCallStatusChange) when the 3CX Phone is in "CTI" Mode!?
    What has been changed here? I think this is a Bug.

    Explanation:
    1. We dont have Hardphones
    2. All our users have an Office Terminalserver Session with CRM Client with plugin and 3CXPhone in CTI mode for outbound and inbound Calls.
    3. All our users have an Working computer 3CXPhone in softphone mode with Jabra Headset

    Please see your answer in the e-mail above: "Events should work in both CTI and softphone modes."

    I hope you can understand that we do not change this configuration. The question is why did the behavior change with version 15.5?
    I hope that you fix the Bug.
