No Audio to Ext Sangoma 102D V10 **TEMPLATES COMING SOON

    I had a full PRI into a Sangoma card running on V9. I had some issues with Caller ID, but the call audio worked well. Since the upgrade to V10, I have not been able to hear incoming audio to an extension phone.

    The PSTN customer on the other end can hear me fine, but I cannot hear them.

    Any Suggestions?

    Hi

    this needs to be troubleshooted with a wireshark capture and logs.

    Does the sangoma board event viewer tell you something informative?

    Maybe you have something between the PBX and the phone that is causing the problem not necessarily with the sangoma. this is why logs are needed - there are hops that need to be troubleshooted.

    I am working with Sangoma now.

    I don't know what changed in v10, but it was working in v9.

    In this respect nothing was changed - I can assure you.

    The only changes we made were in the outbound parameters but affects only Voip Providers not gateways.

    Let me know on the status.

    Okay. Sangoma tech support has been very helpful in tracking it down. I spent an hour with them on the phone and remote=-in yesterday. No solution yet, but I sent a zipped config file this morning. I will let you know what happens.

    I have posted in the RTP thread as well. This may be the more appropriate place.
    Here is what I got from Sangoma Support.

    It seems that something did change in V10 with the way RTP streams are handled.

    I apologize for the late reply. I have had our netborder team look at this
    issue and it does look like your RTP is being streamed to an incorrect
    location. It does have to do with an issue with 3CX version 10 and we have
    contacted the 3CX team in order for them to fix the issue.

    In the meantime, i suggest moving down to version 9 as that version seems to
    be working without this issue.

    For this problem, when you create a sangoma port, do not give localhost as ip or 127.0.0.1 but give it the actual IP Address if it is on the same machine as the pbx.

    We are releasing a new version of the gateway files for sangoma soon that will work out of the box with the soon to be released netborder express gateway - we will notify users on the 3CX Blog. Stay on the lookout for this because there is a cool import feature in the new netborder gateway that will set up your ISDN / FXO gateways in Seconds.
