No one in queue

    Hi,

    If i have calls directed to a queue, and there is no one logged in, still i want the calls to divert to cellphones immediately (no delay- not to lose the call), so they are not "wasted".
    Is there any way you know of?
    Is there a way to add a cell phone as part of a queue?

    Not directly no, you have to divert the call to a dummy extension and have that extension setup as out of office or away with the profile set to forward to a mobile or number of your choice.

    Hi Nate,

    Thanks, But if the dummy is not in the queue- where does the call go to? isnt there a provision in the system to say " if there is not other option- go to XXXX"?

    yes this is setup in the Queue itself, if no one is logged in then do this. Forward to a dummy extension which is not registered and set it to forward to a mobile number or external land line.
