No Out Bound since 5.1 Upgrade

    Yesterday I upgrade to 5.1. I can no longer place an outbound call. In Line Status it displays that my provider is regestered.
    After the call is placed I get a Busy Signal. Below is my Server Status. Any Thoughts?????

    Hi

    From your post the fact that you have numerous ' duplicate key violates unique constraint "history_pkey" ' indicates a DB issue.

    Could which version did you upgrade?

    To resolve this DB issue , make a backup of your config and then restore it. That will solve your DB issue that is generating ' duplicate key violates unique constraint "history_pkey"'

    With that done we can address any remaining issues.

    I scrubed my 3CX & reinstalled it without running a back up just made all new Provider & Phone set entrys. This is what i get now. Reason not found seams to be the best answer i get. Very frustrating..............

    Hi,

    (note for administrator, you can move the message to another topic, as I found in my system a serious bug, that is also related to this item)

    Last weeks, I have been experimenting, and encountered similar problems, however more related to a "regular recurring" type.
    Installing the system (win XP pro) and 3cx version 5.1 (very recent, downloaded 14 feb)
    Installing the outbound lines : OK
    installing the sip clients :eek:k
    calling sips.. ok
    calling outbound : OK...
    Then... after just rebooting the machine (clean reboot requested out from windows (start...etc...)) will result in, of course, restarting the machine, however...
    NO registrations possible.

    Restarting the sip clients is resulting in no registrations either.. (to get timeout problems out of the way, i reduced the re-registring time to 180 seconds)

    Only sollution was to remove the ring groups, voip lines, fxo lines, sip clients, and restart the installation.
    Then, (up to now) the system is still working, however after a reboot.. everything the same.. new config needed.

    I guess this problem is also related with the DB, therefor I would like to mention it.
    If admin prefers to open a new topic around this item , please do.

    If version numbers needed, let me know.
    Also system configs etc... let me know..
    Would be glad to solve this, as to my idea, this software is fantastic.. nice piece of work, great possibilities etc...
    Just a pitty that this last thing did not work..
    I also have to mention, I use the free download version.
    some relation with it ?

    I'm curentlty running 3CX Phone System Version5.1.4128.0. Up till this point I was running 3.0............

    Thanks for your post.

    The error ' No known route to target' is most likely due to nnot having an outbound rule, or a properly set outbound rule.

    Please check it out.

    That appears to be set up correct. I must share that my inbound works fine, although inbound is a different Provider. Short of Restoring my system & Scrubing it by hard coating new Provider entrys which are posted in this string. What could be the next step. Clearly this up-grade has affected my outbound side.............

    The Copy & Paste is not giving me an actual Picture of my settings but I can share this with you.

    Rule name is 1

    Thanks for your post.

    Your logging is not verbose. You need to enable this from the General > Logging section and restart the Phonesystem service when done.

    You are still suffering from the DB issue. This situation is not known to exist on clean installs. Can you confirm that you have done a backup and restore?

    Look forward to the verbose logging once you make an outbound call.

    Forgive me I was not aquainted with the Verbose feature. When I choose Verbose, a POP up Screen in forms me that:

    Enetension number must consist of Four Digits.

    I only have Two Extensions & they are both 4 digits.

    Since this issue is relative to an upgrade, can you confirm if you were previously the build 3790?

    If this is the case can you confirm that that you installed the backup patch before backing up and restoring?

    Is the backup patch was not in place the DB issue on the history would be somewhat understandable.

    What I cannot follow is how you get the same issue with a clean install and an upgrade. We would appreciate a clear understanding of what has been done before and leading to this issue.

    We need the Verbose logging to proceed.

    Hi William,

    I have no Idea how to check that I was running the build 3790. What is a 3790?

    In regards to a back up patch; I simply downloaded the latest version. I was the informed that i would first need to uninstall the prior version first and that it would be in my best interest to run a back up from it. After doing so, this is where i found myself.

    I'm afraid I'm not giving you the information that you desire, only because as you pose questions to me, I discover that I'm not aquainted with these settings or these terms................

    No problem. In view of what you are telling me I would think that our safest bet at the moment would be to go for a clean slate with no restores. If you agree please proceed as follows;

    1. Uninstall.
    2. Ensure 3CX User account is gone.
    3. Ensure 3CX install folder is gone.
    4. Reboot
    5. Delete any remnant of the 3CX user profiles from the Windows drive\Documents and settings
    6. Install
    7. Do not restore, create an extension and your line

    Once done give me a status update.

    That did not work for me. I scrubbed the system of 3cx & did a reboot checked to see that nothing was in documents. I did another restart & then loaded from the 3cx site a new version..... Here are my logs....

    Out of shear frustration I reloaded Windows. To my dismay, that didn’t help. I also went in to general settings Logging Level, Verbose & below is my results.

    Maybe a stupid suggestion. It is standard in the outboundrule that it strips the first digit. With some providers you need to keep that first digit so when you put that on 0 what happens then? When I look in to your log I see no 0 before your number you dial. Could that be the problem? Just try changing strip 1 digit into 0. And voipcheap normally wants you to dial even the country number before it with the 00XX. So your outboundrule might be wrong at the moment
