No Outbound Calls from 3CX Softphone to Skype Gateway

    Recently considered transfering our old PBX to 3CX PBX.

    Installed the Skype Gateway showing all ok connected from the gateway to the PBX when making calls from the VOIP client the error log shows the following:

    61393860942 is missing the country code, Skype require this (such as 0035761393860942).
    Also, you MUST have Skype credit, also required by Skype.

    Thank you for the reply outbound calls seem to be functioning. There is a secondary issue with incoming call not being answered by the skype gateway.

    this includes skype picking up the call but gateway showing the call but the PBX not answering. Digital Auto Attendent answering in configurted with prompts menus stilll not answering call.

    Assistance on where to go from here. I am sure its to do with configuration somewhere.

    I had a similar issue that had me stumped for quite a while: Outgoing Skype calls were always marked busy and Incoming calls getting answered and immediately dropped.

    Turns out that it was because I had used remote desktop to access my 3CX/Skype Gateway server. When connected via remote desktop, the server thought it had no Microphone available, which causes errors in Skype.

    When disconnected from Remote Desktop, everything worked fine. I recommend using VNC or some alternate method of remoting to the server if necessary.
