No sound/audio on external calls

Hi

After switching our 3cx server from v12 to v14 some (both softphone & hardphone) clients lost sound on external calls (we can't hear caller and caller can't hear us). Internal calls have no problem with sound though.

We've set up all our clients automatically (using email) or auto-provision it from 3cx (hardphones).

Windows clients are all fine. Macs clients - some fine, some not. And hardphones seem ALL to have a problem now (we use only one hardphone model Yealink T42G)

This is an example hardware that have problems:
– Yealink T42G (29.73.0.50) (Firmware been updated through 3cx too)
– Mac Pro OS X 10.9.5 (13F34)

Any thoughts?

First thing to check is that the firewall checker still passes. Next, look at the windows firewall and if enabled, disable and test. Finally, with V14, there was/is a method change to how the devices can find the 3CX system - FQDN or by IP. You may need to check the settings.

Windows have firewall disabled. Outer firewall setup correctly (we use AWS and 3cx Firewall checker passes).
Our 3cx have FQDN setup - http://joxi.ru/DmBRX9xFXqOVmP. And clients are all autoprovisioned using FQDN. My only amendment here will be that we use http FQDN, not https one. As server have no SSL cert on it yet.
 
The fastest way to understand what is going on is to get a wireshark capture of a failed call. Without details we can only guess.
