    Hi,
I'm using Windows Vista and a Asus P5K m/b with rear and front (Sensing) audio ports. I have a 5.1 speaker system setup on the rear ports so am using the front ones to connect a headset (Mic + Headphones) to. The problem is that Windows detects that the headset and shows that there is audio coming in (The meter moving up and down) but VOIPClient will not pick up the sound either for external or internal calls. I have made sure that the correct input is selected in the client and tried both (Line in and Mic) just to be sure but it still doesnt capture sound. Now the other interesting thing is that Adobe Audition captures sound perfectly fine from the same port and headset leading me to believe it must be some kind of configuration setting or bug in the client itself. I tried turning on and off the exclusive mode options in Windows to no avail. Any other ideas?
