Hi All,
am using the latest version of 3CX V. 15.5.0 SP6 with Professional License and am integrated with Cisco SIP Trunk and all is working fine except for 1 thing the Inbound Caller ID ,
As any call transferred from Cisco is just showing the extension number which transferred it but not the Originator Caller ID even when tried each value in the Inbound and when traced Cisco LOGs i have found that the Originator Caller ID is sent at an update message ( P-Asserted-Identity: or Remote-Party-ID: ) however when checked the LOGs from 3CX side i coundnt locate any update message Received.

So you are asking out to get the Cisco to send the CID telepathically to 3CX or....? If Cisco isn't sending it then 3CX can't do anything about it. Make sure you have verbose logging turned on or use wireshark to confirm what is coming from the Cisco.

By Cisco SIP Trunk, do you mean some sort of Cisco Gateway? Or does Cisco provide VoIP trunks in your area?
If it is a gateway, then be sure that it is set to detect the caller ID type from your provider. A delay is also required if caller ID type is Bellcore, as it is sent after the first ring.

You might also want to confirm that the caller ID option (usually a paid option), is "on the line".

its a voip SIP Trunk created on Cisco PBX to link with 3CX PBX and when checked it , Cisco is already sending the caller ID in an update SIP message not at the Invite but 3CX only gets the Invite Message

Please note that the PBX will read the Caller ID from the original Invite message to the PBX and will pass the caller ID to the phone. It will read the caller ID from the SIP field defined in the Inbound parameters of the trunk.
If the caller ID is sent in an UPDATE message after the call is established then the caller ID will not be read by the PBX.
