Not understanding Extension Rights

    We have many different groups (15). We want users within their groups to be able to see who they are on call with, but we don't want those users to see calling information of other groups. All groups need to be able to transfer to other groups.

    We think we have this part figured out mostly, but we are having a problem figuring out the managers. We have 4 people in the company who need to see everything and have all call features (we have the pro version) and be able to perform operations on everyone in any group.

    We have fiddled with moving people around in the default group, adding them, taking them out, changing permissions, but we are unable to get it. Could someone take me through this - even if I have to recreate all groups and permissions.

    Moving users from 'user' to 'manager' doesn't make a difference. If users are in multiple groups, is there a hierarchy of permissions?
