    Good day,

We are missing the ODBC Connect for Contacts on V15 Linux.
Please implement the feature on Linux.

    Thank you.

@Nick Galea has said that this feature won't be added due to lack of ODBC libraries for Linux.
I think if enough people want it, it should be possible using JDBC though.
We also have customers who would like it, and have to splash £700 on a Windows license because this isn't available. Anything we can do to keep costs down makes 3CX an easier sell.

    +1 for ODBC on Linux.
As far as I know, it should be possible, Asterisk supports ODBC since many years...

I suspect we could perform ODBC queries from a Windows service that then translates the requests to 3CX API calls. If you really need it. Sounds ugly, but you must have a Windows box around somewhere that could host the service.

Our strategy here will be to have scripts for SQL server, MySQL and LDAP that will add a REST API to these servers - which can then be queried from our server based CRM module. You could already start his yourself today in a way but it requires some development knowledge so maybe you will choose to wait a bit.

I do not have shell access to our 3CX server.
I do have knowledge of Soap and Web-services.
