    Hello,

We are using the SIP trunk flowroute for our services. Today, they have experienced an entire outage affecting our total phone system. We were not allowed outbound or inbound calls. After they have resolved the issue, I have received notice from one of our extension users that they are not able to access their voicemail. They are using it on the Windows Client, and today we have not changed any of our settings. So far, no other extensions are experiencing this issue either. I have disallowed the PIN requirement to access their voicemail in attempt to make it easier, but other than that, nothing has changed. He tells me it just shows up as a blank screen. When I view the activity log, I see this message:

03/20/2017 2:04:11 PM - [CM102001]: Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req REGISTER from 127.0.0.1:5080 tid=Pj2ddff2ba396e4ee297a23320d16a015b Call-ID=528c8a2496bc40d0b88e46f4e0a481a8: REGISTER sip:127.0.0.1:5060;transport=UDP SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 127.0.0.1:5080;branch=z9hG4bK-524287-2---Pj2ddff2ba396e4ee297a23320d16a015b;rport=5080 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 72.2XX.XXX.XXX:53863;branch=z9hG4bK-524287-1---tunneltid;rport;tnlid=clnt.1-568db0cab2f94cf4b57a20ed3e711d95 Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 192.168.1.34:50195;rport;branch=z9hG4bKPj2ddff2ba396e4ee297a23320d16a015b;alias Max-Forwards: 69 Record-Route: <sip:3cxBridge@127.0.0.1:5080;user=proxy;uri=clnt.1-568db0cab2f94cf4b57a20ed3e711d95> Path: <sip:3cxt@127.0.0.1:5080;ob> Contact: "Sales Rep" <sip:222@192.168.1.34:50195;transport=TCP;rinstance=1-568db0cab2f94cf4b57a20ed3e711d95;ob>;reg-id=1;+sip.instance="<urn:uuid:00000000-0000-0000-0000-0000451d6770>" To: "Sales Rep" <sip:222@scraperite.3cx.us> From: "Sales Rep" <sip:222@YYYYYYYYYY.3cx.us>;tag=359a648f1060452f9e525620bdb03ec9 Call-ID: 528c8a2496bc40d0b88e46f4e0a481a8 CSeq: 34895 REGISTER Expires: 120 Allow: PRACK, INVITE, ACK, BYE, CANCEL, UPDATE, INFO, SUBSCRIBE, NOTIFY, REFER, MESSAGE, OPTIONS Proxy-Authorization: Digest username="004",realm="3CXPhoneSystem",nonce="414d535958d0199a65:222bee114d80871a1a16e964e6c728e7",uri="sip:YYYYYYYYYY.3cx.us;transport=tcp",response="b3b57601ab0eb1aaab39d47c567e65c3",algorithm=MD5 Supported: outbound, path User-Agent: 3CXPhone for Windows 15.0.59381.0 Content-Length: 0 ; Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings

which leads me to believe there are some credential authentication issues. However, the extension user tells me that he is not asked to enter any sort of credentials upon opening the voicemail. Also, this message from the activity log seems to say the issue is stemming from the extension "Sales Rep", however, this extension name has been discontinued for a month or two now, and replaced with the current person's details. This is the same extension that is now having these issues.

Once again, we were not experiencing these issues before the flowroute issue, however I have reached out to them about the issue and they have assure me that it is not their issue...so...any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

I can't see how the outage would have had an affect on this extension. Off the top of my head..I would say that it may be that the set has re-provisioned itself using an old file that has the old name, and possibly an old password.
