ONE WAY AUDIO ISSUE IN YEALINK T21_E2 SERIES PHONES

    HI All,

    We are facing an issue with the Yealink Enterprise series IP Phones ( YEALINK T21P_E2 ) . In the same network we are using , Yealink Normal phones ( T21 - Series ) as well and they are working fine.

    The Scenareo is --

    When 'X' Calls 'Y'

    'X' Can hear 'Y' 's voice clearly
    'Y' Will not hear any thing.

    Version - Standard Edition
    FW - Version 12

    While testing Firewall checker , the voip ports are open.

    Try different firmware on the E2.

    Hi,

    Have you checked the Yealink’s audio using 3CX Echo Test *777 ?
    Is the E2 running the preferred and supported firmware by 3CX?
    Is the E2 provisioned by 3CX?

    Hi ,

    Thanks for the replies . Tried upgrading the FW to 52.80.0.70. Still the issue is there.
    Kindly share the recommended FW for E2 Series .

    Hi Arun,

    Yealink T21 E2 was not supported in 3CX Phone System V12. There is no provisioning template for that model.
    The correct template for T21 E2 model and V80 SW of Yealink phones is available only in 3CX Phone System V14.
    Please upgrade your 3CX Phone System, correctly provision the phone and everything will work.

    P.S. T21 works correctly, because it was supported in V12 and you have correct template for it.
