    Hi All,

After doing a complete reinstall -- everything is running.
3cx (free) on virtual w2008 64 bit with Grandstream 4104 2 fxo ports connected to pstn, spa942 phones.

    Two Questions:
    1) even though I have defined 3 pstn lines in 3cx (10000,10001,10002) and have equivilent lines/channels in grandstream -- only 10000 and 10001 ever register, 10003 never does (i have triple checked the passwords etc, problem occurred under previous install, upgraded grandstream to current rev, etc). Currently, there are only 2 pstn lines connected (10000 and 10001) -- however, it doesn't appear to matter which ports these are plugged into -- only 10000 and 10001 ever register. Any thoughts?

    2) I can dial out, and system selects 10000 outbound. I dial out again on different extension which goes out on 10001, -- 10000 disconnects and 10001 connects. (ie -- can't have two outbound calls simultaneously)

    3) not really a question -- just a comment -- when 'pbx provides audio' is unchecked -- inbound callers report I either sound like I am drowning, or have taken Darth Vader to a Karoke bar. When I check it (enabled), audio is better. Isn't this the reverse of what we would expect?

    Any ideas?

    thanks in advance.
    Dean.

as for the 3rd line -- even though passwords match -- still no registration -- I set password to blank (on both) and it now works.

The only outstanding issue is the simultaneous calls -- is it the 3cx or the grandstream that is the problem? any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

    Dean.

latest firmware on grandstream. 3cx patched to latest.

running syslog -- it looks like 3cx is telling grandstream to drop open call before starting next. -- but I can't tell for sure.

    any help would be appreciated.
    cheers
