Out of Hours DND switching off user DND

    Hi Folks,

    Finally got around to upgrading from v14 to v15 the other week and have noticed that if I place my phone in DND, the following morning it has been turned off on the PBX by auto out of hours and the phone obviously doesn't notice.

    This is a change in behaviour from v14 which remembered the state of the phone when out of hours kicks in and kept it DND when out of hours ended the following morning.

    Any chance this could be fixed please?

    Is the Auto Switch parameter in Extension Settings enabled? Please see attachment.

    Yes it is and it always has been, even in version 14. The difference now, is that the user's preference isn't remembered the following day.

    Hello @richardwvm,

    If you have selected the Auto Switch feature, and configured your Office hours (for all the days individually), the extension will turn to Available every day at the same time.

    Correct. However in version 14 it remembered whether or not DND was already enabled and left it that way. This is a change in behaviour that is undesirable.

    We have part time users who leave their phone in DND until they are back in the office. Since the upgrade their phones fall out of DND every morning and as such ring, instead of following their DND forwarding rules.

    @richardwvm,

    In that case you will need to disable Auto switch for the specific extensions, and use the DND feature of the phones.
