    Hi All,

We are in the process of setting up 3CX Phone System 12 and I was able to make outbound calls but since I
updated to the latests version 12 SP4 I can no longer make outbound calls. I have checked settings and that
the connection/registration with our VOIP Provider is up/registered and this is all ok.

The system message is "calls forbidden by administrator"

Could you please assist me on getting this working again.

    Thanks,

    Hamish

Check that the extensions are not set to prevent outside calls (it's an option per extension).
The 3CX log, right after a call attempt, may give you some direction. Clicking the verbatim box at the top , and then doing a refresh will (hopefully) provide even more information.

I'm not really sure what the "failed, cause: Cause: 403 Spoofed From-URI Detected/INVITE from 91.151.2.130:5060"

    Thanks,

It would appear that that is your VoIP provider telling you that you are attempting to Spoof (send out "incorrect" caller ID) a number that is not assigned to you.

Hi thanks for your help I have now managed to find out what the issue was.

    Resolution was:

    Ports/Trunks -> Other Options

and under this menu there is the option to set the "Outbound Caller ID" and I had set our company name which
it doesn't like and after clearing and saving the config so this was blank, I can now make calls to external numbers
    as before.

The IP 91.151.2.130 is the one that my voip provider uses for our trunk registration/comunication.

    Cheers,

    Hamish
