Hi all, I have a lovely 3cx version 9 with all of the patches etc. applied.
It works just great for voice, but now I am trying to get it to send faxes.

I have installed the 'outbound fax server', and configured windows fax/scan on the server. (W2K8R2, 64bit)
I can sucessfully submit a fax via the windows 7 client, and on the server itself.
I can see in the 3cx server log that extension 888 is trying to send a fax to the correct phone number. So far so good.

However, the below message appears and the 3cx drops the call. Windows tries over and over but eventually gives up.
It appears that once 3cx has the call to make, it is not getting routed properly to my VOIP provider.

    Any ideas?

I've seen people are using this outbound fax server successfully, so I must have some sort of config problem.

Here is the log that a fax generates. NOte the "Incoming call rejected" line CM503013:

I'm wondering about the phone number. Do you have an outbound rule that adds a 1 or other digit or does your provider accept 10 digit numbers?

Hi, my VOIP provider (Broadvox) supports the 10 digit numbers.
In my outbound rules, I have no-strip and no-prepend for all outgoing calls.

All calls out from the PBX appear like this in the log.

    thanks
