Outgoing Problems

    Hi,

    I suddenly got this error with an incoining call on a Grandstram GXW4104:

    Why does it say: Device Not Identified: even though the call does come in?

    When I try to phone out via that GW I get:

    Why would this be?

    'Device not identified' means that there's no capabilities settings for that device defined on your system. It means only that default capabilities will be applied.

    Re outbound call: it seems GW can not dial specified number (0829205716). Check its dialplan and regional settings for land-lines (some countries have (physically) different ways of going off-hook, dialling and hanging up). It is possible that your GW just can not go off-hook.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the reply,

    I just identified the problem is with the Telco Provider. They have intermittent promlems on their network:-(
