Paging Interrupts Call

    We have a ring group set up for paging, but if a user is on a call and the group gets paged, it puts the call on hold. How can I disable this?

    What model phone(s) and are you using Multicast or SIP paging?

    Cisco SPA514g and we're not using multicast.

    Not familiar with the Cisco series phones but look around the web interface and see if there is any auto answer or intercom feature that is enabled and try disabling it and see if that helps. Perhaps someone who is familiar with that phone will chime in.
