Solved PBX Express - E-Mail not working

    Dear Community,

    I'm new to 3 CX and started playing around with the PBX Express edition. In the registration process I configured my SMTP mail server correct - I received e-mails from the system and the SMTP Test was also ok.
    However now logged in in the Express edition I'm failing to send out welcome e-mails. Checking the preferences "E-Mail" tab showed me my correct smtp server.
    When I try to press "Test" nothing happens ... tried it with Safari and with Chrome.
    I also tried to configure another smtp mail account which also did not work.

    Does anybody has an idea? It seems to me, that it is not a problem with my SMTP server ... I'm confused because the "Test" simple does nothing ... no error message, nothing.

    Thanks for any hints

    Hello @HenVog

    Is your PBX express on a google instance? if yes what smtp port does your mail server use? Please note that google cloud blocks ports 25,465 and 587 so you need to use an alternative port or use a gmail account.

    Hi YiannhisH - than you for your reply and the information. I'm not sure if it is in a google instance.

    I followed here to create my demo instance: https://pbxexpress.3cx.com - Domain Germany 3cx.de ....
