Is anyone here aware of a good SIP trunk provider in the Philippines ?.

I need to get a new phone system setup over there, with 3CX being my preference, but I don't want to use an ISDN gateway if possible.

It seems like the two biggest fixed line providers out there can't provide anything, it's a very closest market in regards to telecoms.

    Thanks.

Considering that apparently the Philippines is now the No1 offshore call centre location I thought there may have been someone who's had a similar experiance, but I think most business over there use Asterisk.

I've found a forum that may be able to come up with a solution so I'd thought I'd provide a link to my post there...

... has anyone here had any dealings with them at all ?.

Well, it looks like I'm not going to get any joy here :(

The bottom line is that the Philippine 'National Telecommunications Commission' has a stranglehold on telecoms so that none of the big providers can get access to using Philippine DDI's other than on landlines and ISDN30/E1/T1. For a country that has a booming call centre industry, mostly servicing the USA, it's so backwards (the Philippines still suffers from a high level of corruption as well).

So the best I can hope for is to maybe use an ISDN30 and a Patton SmartNode SN4960/1E30V/UI.

Looking at your website you are not a SIP trunk provider, I'm assuming that you just found this thread via a search on Google ? (it appears that you just resell USA / Canadian based numbers, aiming at those Philippinos who have emigrated to Canada ?).

It still looks like a standard SIP trunk with Philippine numbers if just not available, Globe and PLDT do offer some products but to access them you must be running an Internet connection that is provided by them directly and in some instances it's only via a VPN connection to them. I'm discussing this with PLDT now and once I totally understand the situation I'll update this thread so that others can see the product they actually offer, their website implies that they offer a traditional SIP trunk that can be used by anyone but this is not the case.

If things change I'll update this thread, however the Philippine telecoms market is still very protectionist and PLDT and hanging on to their monopoly (this is a great blog if you want to find out more... http://telcotroll.com/)
