    3Cx PBX version: version 8
    Handset Model: Polycom Soundpoint SPIP321

    Question:
    How do we configure the Polycom 321 to use 2 independent lines (via the Line 1 and Line 2 buttons)?

    Pressing the line 1 button enables us to make outbound and receive inbound calls. But pressing the line 2 button looks like is configured with a speed dialed extension (at least that's what we think its doing). We need to configure 2 lines per phone (have the line 2 button act the same way as line 1).

    We've got the SPIP321 phone to pull down the phone provisioing template via DHCP option 66. We've been looking at the provisioning template and it looks like the "SIP Settings for Identity 1 (reg.1)" is where the change we're looking for needs to be made. Any sample code would be appreciated.

    reg.1.lineKeys="2" reg.1.callsPerLineKey="2"

    Also set the Busy Detection Mechanism in Forwarding Setting for the extension to Use Phone Status and not Use PBX Status. This ensures that 3CX continues to send call INVITES to the phone until the phone begins rejecting them.

    On a different phone model, the Polycom 550, how would we able to make the first 3 buttons show 3 lines and the 4th button dials the voicemail?
