phonebook ldap integration

    I' m trying PBX trial and got some important question - how works phonebook ldap integration?
    Only search there when incoming number doesn't exist in local base?
    Or maybe i can import all AD user's contact information to local base and when periodically sync it?

    Hi,

    When an inbound call arrives and the contact is not matched against a local phonebook entry, 3CX can search in LDAP, and if a contact is found, it's copied to the 3CX public phonebook, so next time the match is done faster. This is useful to show the contact name when they call you.
