    Hi community,

Is it possible to write a custom dialplan on 3cx and also use the php library php-agi in order to build AGIs ?.

    Any hint will be appreciate.

    Thanks,

    Hi @albertollamaso,

Please, can you describe what you need to integrate? 3CX is not configured using dialplans like asterisk, you need to use a different approach. But there are many APIs you can use for integration, and usually what you need is possible from the console, without any programming...

    Kind regards.

Thanks for the reply. We want to write an IVR in which the user is gonna introduce some digits and then we have to query a SQL database. Also we would like to pass the reply from the database to a text to speech on twilio.

Please let me know if this is achievable on 3CX.

    Hi @albertollamaso,

In order to create such an IVR, you need to use the 3CX Voice Application Designer. This is a tool to create voice apps visually, in most scenarios you don't need to write any code at all.

The 3CX VAD is only available for v14 right now, but very soon we'll be releasing a new version compatible with 3CX v15. The new version will not support TTS initially, only wav files, so if you can get your engine to create the wav files using some API, then you can do that and configure the VAD app to play those wav files.

    Kind regards.
