Play prompt to agent before connect call

    Hi team,

    Could you help us with the following scenario? An incoming call arrives 3CX, welcome message, and then connected to a call queue and agent. A message like "Company call" need to be prompted to the agent before talking with caller to difference company calls from private calls.

    Is it neccesary to use CFD? Is there any option in Call Queues that permit playing a prompt only to agent when a call is connected?

    Hello @VictorSP,

    Unfortunately it's not possible to play a prompt to the agent before taking a queue call, not with the CFD or in any other way. If you need this functionality, I would suggest you to post the feature request in the 3CX Ideas site: https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/3cx-ideas/

    However, if the agent receives a call from a queue, then the Caller ID will tell that to the agent. So this should not be necessary, as you can know if the call comes through the queue or it is a direct call to the extension just checking the Caller ID.

    Thanks for your reply.

    And is it possible to play the prompt when the call has been just connected with the agent? In this case the scenario could be: the customer is connected with the agent but system plays music on hold during its playing the message "Company call" to the agent and then they can talk.
