We are in a new building - and the city code does not require any internal alarm speakers. So, when the alarm station is pulled nothing happens inside the building... but then the Fire Dept does show up.

Looking for ideas on a SIP Endpoint that could dial a number (our paging system) and play a prerecorded message. Ideally - it would have some input pins as well to trigger the system from our Alarm Panel.

I also have a call into our Security Alarm folks too.

Something simple could be put together with an ATA, a couple of relays, some 555 timers, and a cheap MP3 player.

Alarm system operates relay, line on ATA is seized resistor across tip and ring, off-hook option dials paging system, timer triggers MP3 player to play (coupled to tip and ring through capacitors), timer then releases everything after 1 or 2 minutes.
Not including the ATA, it's probably $20 in parts.

Or...something like this, through an ATA.

You could use the second set of contacts to call someone at home, if the intrusion alarm were triggered.

The Algo look like all the parts rolled into 1.
Thanks for the responses. This helps me get moving in the right direction.
