Polycom Call Parking & other * Code issues fixed

    If anyone is having issues with Polycom phones (any maybe other phones?) with * codes try this.

    In your dial plan enter *xxxx as part of it. This will allow * codes to dial. If you only have 2 digit extensions you only need *xxx, 3 digit *xxxx and so on.
    This will allow you to dial * codes up to the limit of the x's.

    3CX support - please take a note of this!

    Can you explain this step by step for us dummies? What do you mean by "dial plan", etc?
