Polycom IP 550 Call Quality

    I have a Polycom IP 550 which I copied the latest 3CX provisioning file and uploaded it to the phone. The codecs used are G711U and G711A. Firmware has benn upgraded to and phone is fully provisioned in 3cx.

    The callee is complaining that he can't hear well when I make a call from my extension to him. Claims that tmy voices fades to nothing so he is hearing partial words.

    We also had G722 and G729 as available codecs but removed these. The callee said he saw some improvement.
