Polycom phones - Reject button

    I was wondering if 3CX could be modified to allow a configurable option when it receives a reject sip message from a phone. Polycom has reject button that is displayed on their phones when a call is ringing. Polycom advertises this as way to divert the call to voicemail if you don't want to take the call. The problem is that 3CX promptly drops the call when it receives a reject from the phone.

    I guess what I am asking is should I be hounding Polycom about this or is this something that 3CX should handle at the server level? A new feature request?

    It depends on the way Polycom rejects a call. If it replies 'busy' - you can set forwarding rule in 3CX PBX to forward busy calls to VM. Other than that you should try to configure the phone.
