Presence and PUSH

    Hi,

    Just want to clarify something. As far as I can tell, if an extension is configured for PUSH notifications to mobile phones, that extension will always display as available even if the softphone client isn't even running on the mobile device. Is this correct? If so, it kind of renders the presence functionality useless.....

    If this is not the case I would appreciate any advice on maintaining presence status without disabling PUSH.

    Hello @Jason Ward

    Please note that an extension configured for Push that had a mobile device register to the extension once will always display as Registered. If the extension is Available or not that depends on office hours, the status the user set, if the user is busy on a call etc. The extension need to be registered though in order to be able to receive push notifications.
