Problem with busy tones signal.

    Problem with busy tones signal.

    I use VoIP gateway and 3 different VoiP providers which all give me different signals in case of busy number. For example, one provider says "call could not be established", second gives busy tone after 10 sec pause, third says "the number is busy" etc.

    I wonder if 3CX can substitute all these signals by its own?

    For Incoming and Outgoing calls to and from your PBX, you can set the: Settings > General > Global Options > Play Busy Prompt When Busy and Disable the Option
    ( If you want to hear a Voice Prompt instead of the 3CX Busy Tone.)

    Some Providers have a weird / bad way of using early media when this option is Enabled / etc hearing audio over audio, so test it a bit by calling some busy numbers before enabling it permanently on your lines or enable Supression of Early media on your phones.
