Problens with transfers

    Hi, I´m using audioCodes MP202 for extensions and I have a problem with transfers.

    If I do theses steps the transfers works fine.

    TEL A ==> call tel B ==> TEL B
    TEL A ==> hold tel B ==> TEL B on hold
    TEL A ==> call tel C ==> TEL C
    TEL A ==> transfer Tel B to C ==> TEL B == talk to tell A.


    But if I try to transfers using these steps
    TEL A ==> call tel B ==> TEL B
    TEL B ==> hold tel A ==> TEL A on hold
    TEL B ==> call tel C ==> TEL C
    TEL B ==> transfer Tel A to C ==> TEL A == talk to tell C.

    don´t work, The server return message SIP to REFER authentication, and the MP waiting 202 ok.

    Somebody help me?

    Also what phones are you using

    Also include the types of phones you are using.

    Are all the phones on the same subnet as the 3CX server?

    I´m using ATA MP202 audioCodes.
    If I do the route into the ATA "DIAL PLAN" and I don´t use the proxy 3CX, then the transfer function works fine.

    If you want I can send log of wareshark that contain all the packges the comunication.

    Hi Angus,

    Please enable the log level to "Verbose (only used for debugging purposes)". Then restart all 3cx services or restart 3cx box. Capture the log for us again.

    Hi acgotola,

    Referred to your log. There is not found any message for quoted

    Please try to remove password for all extensions. Both extensions' password setup at 3CX box and MP202 are needed to set it as blank.

    Let me know it works or not.

    Change the password

    After I change the password to null, then the transfer works fine.

    Why it happens?

    It seems because your extension doesn't expect 407 response from PBX in case of refer request (?).

    We don't know why. We still work on this case.

    Before buy the hardware for 3CX box, better to take a look at supported hardware. https://www.3cx.com/support/
