Looking at the template for a Yealink T29/T23 what does IF blf# check for in the following. I thought it was looking to see if a button was programmed and if it was keep the setting but every time I re provision a phone it changes the type back to 0 and overwrites the saved settings.
{IF blf3}
linekey.5.line = %%Line%%
linekey.5.value = %%blf3%%
linekey.5.pickup_value = %%PickupValue%%
linekey.5.type = %%DKtype%%
linekey.5.label = %%blffirstname3%% %%blflastname3%%
linekey.5.extension = %%PickupValue%%
{ELSE}
linekey.5.type = 0
{ENDIF}

I believe it means the BLF number in the BLF tab under the user's extension settings. So it's like an IF statement that says if BLF #3 is filled out then add the corresponding values to linekey 5 on the phone.

As above, set the BLF keys settings within the console

Thanks that makes sense. I had to change the template then because 3cx template automatically assigns the first two buttons to line keys and we didn't want that. Very helpful knowing what these are and that I can get rid of them because I'm assigning buttons through templates.
