I'm trying to provision a Cisco SPA303 using a static IP but the provisioning status on the device is "download failed". Where can i get the Cisco SPA support files for debian linux?

    Hi,

Are you trying to do this via the manual entry of provisioning link into the phones or via DHCP option 66. Also what is the firmware version on the phones - they firmware is very specific for working with 3CX. Cisco SPA 303 - Firmware 7.6.1

Below are the setup guides for both DHCP Option 66 provisioning and Manual.

NOTE: You will not get the full functionality from these phones as you would with a fully "supported" phone brank (like Yealink) be aware that you cannot use these phones with CTI mode (with 3CX Client) or remotely via SBC or STUN.

Yes, I'm trying to do the manual entry of the provisioning link and the firmware version on the phone is 7.6.1.

Note that I'm trying to connect to a Debian Linux 3CX PBX. Is it possible that I would need a different set of Cisco SPA support files since 3CX PBX is Linux?

No, the OS should not mean anything in this scenario. Are you sure the link format is correct ?
Where are the phones in relation to the PBX ?

In Linux, Cisco SPA support files should be stored in which directory? This is the format i'm using http://[A]/admin/resync?”.

You need a tftp server with option 66 enabled to allow your sip firmware to first be installed on the phone and then the config downloaded. Did you happen to read the easy to follow instructions on the forum? https://www.3cx.com/Sip-Phones/Cisco-SPA/

Yes, I followed that guide but used the manual approach since I don't have a DHCP server.
