Hi All,

I am sorry if it is not a very smart question.

Yesterday i provisioned an Yealink T19P E2 via Rps and it worked perfectly. When provisioning , i used the PIN code and not the extension password.

Generally speaking, when using VoIP phones the PIN should be used instead of extensions password or this is required only when RPS provisioning remote extensions?

Thanks again for your help.

I'm not understanding the question.... yes you use pin code for 3cx rps, other than that it's used to check voice-mail. That's about it.

Not sure if this is the question but generally when you want to register something manually you should use the extensions ID and password. For RPS you need the ID and the extensions voicemail PIN.

Thanks, that is exactly my question...
