    Hi there,

I'm about to install a 3cxmini edition into a client. This will be a mini call centre so to speak, with three registered handsets in the office and a couple of remote offices. The call centre may have three inbound calls at the same time, with a call queue and a digital assistant forwarding calls to remote offices either to internal ring groups with remote software clients or to external numbers with eircom for example.

The issue is that we have average broadband (8mb/512kb), on a contended 24:1 service. We estimate 2 concurrent sip calls. So we figure BRI or PSTN. We have a PSTN line (with the adsl service), so we would be using that with patton 2 or 4 port gateway, to get the office up whcih we wiat for the ISP to activate the broadband account.

We reckon we we will install a BRI in the near future. So, we wonderif anyone ever used the Patton 4114 FXO with the analogue ports of an eircom ISDN line. In Ireland, eircoms ISDN NT1 has two ISDN channel ports and also two pstn ports for regular phones. Has anyone ever used the PSTN ports on the above FSO gateway. Are the ports on the eircom NT1 FXOor FXS. I reckon the latter as it provides the dial tone and a voltage. Can someone clarify and offer a possible solution?

    Regards

    George
