Under phone provisioning I removed GSM as an option and made G.722 the highest. However in the 3CX softphone if I go to accounts and then advanced, it still shows GSM as first priority and is checked off.

Does the softphone just respect what I have set in 3CX even though it shows something else? Or should they match?

Is there a way to see in 3CX what codec is being used?

    Hi psychobunny83,

Run a PCAP/Wireshark trace, you can see in the packet what codec is being used.
You can see the media format in the SIP/SDP information normally.

If the phone was re-provisioned (and from what you have described, I suspect it has been, then the "old" codecs would be enabled again. You would probably have to edit the configuration template.
