Questions Re: Cisco SX20 Video, Need to upgrade 3CX?

    I've inherited a client with 3CX running on a windows 2008 R2 virtual server. 3CX version 10.0.22686.2297 SP.5. It's worked fine and has required very little interaction by me.

    They recently purchased a Cisco SX20 Telepresence device and wish to make video calls both in and outbound.

    Inbound calls come in through a Grandstream GXW4108 FXO. Outbound calls go through a SIP trunk.

    It seems to me that I'll need to modify the setup to get this working. Inbound video calls obviously won't work over an FXO gateway. So, do you have any suggestions on how to properly get this going? Would it make sense to do port forwarding at the firewall level so the Cisco SX20 is available direct from the Internet, bypassing the PBX?

    Currently, there is no PBX related port forwarding at the router level.

    I'm open to upgrading to a current version of 3CX if needed. It's not clear to me if they are using a free or licensed version of 3CX.
