Started a "quickmeeting" (on demand) and invited 2 folks.
1 @gmail.com
1 @cox.net

Tried the same with a scheduled meeting...

Neither received the invite...
Can someone test this?

Hi Craig

I think quickmeeting invitations come from a different source.

Are your SMTP details definitely correct in the 3CX PBX? Are you able to receive welcome emails and system alerts correctly?

Thanks

Ben

Welcome emails, voicemail notifications and backup notifications all work fine.

Hi Craig

I just tested this on one of our demo PBX's with an invite to a gmail and hotmail address and it works without any problems. All I can think to test is whether you can use voicemail to email with these emails? After that I think 3CX support will be your best best. If you can replicate the problem with verbose logging switched on they will no doubt be able to spot where the issue lies.

Good luck, sorry I couldn't be more help.

Cheers

Ben

All system emails work... I am using MS Exchange. I look in Wireshark and on internal meetings - I see the email to the internal user who created the email - but no other emails to the external parties.
An Verbose logging doesn't seem to show anything.
I tried changing my extension email to my gmail address - no dice. So something with external emails.
So onto Exchange - ah - the "Allow External Recipients" flag... which is only accessible in the Shell.

And now its all working - including Quickmeeting.

Hello there,

Just tried to replicate by creating a scheduled meeting to a gmail and a hotmail and it worked to both email addresses. Please note that i am using the gmail smtp. Have you tried using a gmail for testing purposes?

Well - its all working now - so no need to change.

Glad to hear it is working
