Random tones with 3rd Party Answering Software

    Hi there.

    When I place a user (or extension) on hold, there seems to be multiple, random dtmf tones played in the background unrelated to my answering software. When I disable the media server they dissapear, however calls cannot be answered successfully without the media server.

    Is there something I can do about this, as I do not wish to discontinue using this software.

    Hi,

    can you restart the services and generate a support file and send this over to our support email address. Please also make reference to this forum post and your handle (forum username). Please specify the network environment and sip phones that you are using please.

    Also can you let us know if this happens with more than one type of phone.
