I am evaluating 6.0 RC1 and have a connection to CallCentric setup. The provider entry registers OK but when I try to make and outgoing call I get a "403 User does not exist" error. I have connected to CallCentric using X-Lite without a problem. Did something get changed in the 6.0 release that broke the standard CallCentric setup template?

I had a similar issue with Callcentric setup. I went ahead and followed the setup that is posted on callcentrics website for the 3cx pbx using the generic voip provider and everything works fine. The only difference is I chose External (STUn resolved) for registration settings)

Thanks for the reply. I tried the CallCentric supplied config instructions too and tried both External and Internal IP for the contact field. Still no luck.

I turned verbose logging on and this is what I get... Interesting that the outbound call fails because "User does not exist" but prior to that the Registration with CallCentric succeeds. Registration would not succeed if the user account really did not exist. ???

I am also having this exact problem. When I spoke with CallCentric Support they told me to rollback to version 3. I am using the free edition of v. 5. Any solutions?

Its best to use v6 - its been tested with Callcentric and known to work. If you still need help, you can open a support issue with 3CX (requires a support account)

I'm using the latest beta of version 6 and have tried everything and can't seem to get Callcentric to work. I don't even see in the logs where it tries to register.

Anyone else having issues or has gotten it to work?

    Thanks

This works 100%, no doubts about it. You have a network/firewall/configuration issue....

I would disagree somewhat as I just got it working by changing the registration IP to a static one instead of using internal. I also have removed all the STUN settings. This was the only way I could get it to register. I've opened up all the needed ports on the FW and used static NATing. But I couldn't find anywhere in the documentation that the STUN ports needed to be opened. Is this the case? And what STUN servers should be used?

    Thanks

STUN ports should be opened only outbound. I mean your router should allow outbound traffic to port 3478.
You can use any STUN server you like.

Then these ports were open. What are the recommneded STUN servers for using 3CX or Callcentric?

    Thanks

    I am having the same problems with version 5 and 6. Our company has a different vendors VOIP software and it does work with CallCentric so I don't think it is a CallCentric issue, matter a fact CallCentric is not seeing any calls coming from our 3CX server. Here is what my version 5 log is showing;

CallCentric did not recieve anything for either of these outbound calls. Does anyone have any ideas?

I did download the latest updates for version 5 and 6 although I had the same results. I did verify that our firewall was confirgured correctly with the 3CX software. I have tried NATing for the STUN server, internal and external STUN servers which did not make a differance.

I too can't make calls outbound with Callcentric and my logs are identical to yours when I try. I can receive inbound calls though on my DID number with Callcentric.

I'm running the release version 6, but my firewall test always fails. I'm working on it now trying to best configure my Watchguard FW to allow it to work. Not having much luck.

So, Callcentric has answered "403 User not found" and still claims it didn't get any requests. Isn't it strange?

CallCentric support provided the fix for me and the only one I changed from the list below was:

    From: User Part: AuthID

    And that did the trick.

    Hello,

First note that it seems 3CX version 5 and 6 beta are not properly configured to work with Callcentric by default. Please ensure that you are using the following settings under the “Gateway/Provider Outbound Parameters”:

Request Line URI: User Part: CalledNum
Request Line URI: Host Part: GWHostPort
    Contact: User Part: AuthID
    Contact: Host Part: ContactUrl
    To: Display Name: CalledName
    To: User Part: CalledNum
    To: Host Part: GwHostPort
    From: Display Name: CallerName
    From: User Part: AuthID
    From: Host Part: GWHostPort

Actually, From: User Part: AuthID IS by-default setting. I will doublecheck it though.
Just out of curiosity you can try to make it blank (defalut is applied then).

On my stock CallCentric profile in the 3CX software, the default was "CallerName".

I also found I couldn't get Callcentric to register unless I used a specific IP address under registration. The template has it set at STUN which Callcentric tells me they don't support, and they recommended internal, which also didn't work for me.
