Recieve Queue calls without logging in to the client?

    I noticed that i need to run the client and click on a button or icon to enable me to answer queue calls.
    Is there a way to setup a phone to receive a queue calls without logging in to the client?

    The idea of queues is to only present calls to a phone where a person is present to answer it. So, logging in (and out), is a requirement for the concept to work properly.

    When you say "client", what is it that you are referring to?

    Some customers don't like to use phone software on the pc!
    all they need is the phone to ring when a call comes in to a queue.

    so, without using the phone software client on the pc, can the agent login to the queue using the phone itself?

    Yes...

    Logging in to the Queues

    To log into a queue;

    Dial *62 to log the extension into all the Queues that the extension is a member of.
    Dial *63 to log the extensions out of all the queues to which the extension has logged in.

    Note: Queues are only available in commercial editions of 3CX Phone System
