Recording of calls enabled but not recording

    Hi, can someone advise .... I have enabled call recording on the extensions but there is no recordings under the Data folder as such.

    Is there something else which I will need to enable?

    Enabled PABX delivers audio as well but nothing.

    Currently we are unaware of such a bug. Could you check in the following folders for any Recordings?

    For Versions 6 Check in C:\Program Files\3CX PhoneSystem\Data\Recording


    For V7 Check in Folders

    for Vista
    C:\ProgramData\3CX\Data\Recordings

    for XP
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\3CX\Data\Recordings

    Make a fresh call from your Extension that you enabled Recordings and see what happens.

    Am using Windows 2003 server and it is in
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\3CX\Data\Recordings

    Found it thanks.

    for me the same problem. Stil no recording in the folder c:\documents and settings\application data\3cx\data\recordings. Do i need more adjustments but in global and with the extension. I restarted the services after getting a licence

    I restarted the 3cxphonesystem which hung on the comp. Therefore stopped the system manually and now everything, although call recording, is working. What a pleasant system 3cx is.

    Yes it's very pleasant!
    Could you give us your system specs? O/S, Cassini / IIS? Any Service packs / Tried Installing Codecs...

    Leonidas, sorry for the confusion, also recording works after restarting. suprisingly 3cx. its still great.
